Karmod gives a new impulse to water storage issue and introduces a new type of plastic vertical storage tank to the market: millenium polyethylene water tanks. Although, most of the features of our millenium plastic vertical water tanks are same as our other polyethylene storage tanks, millenium series tanks have some extra superiorities compared to the regular polyethylene tanks.
There are various options for storage of water in houses or industrial institutions. The material, type and size of the storage tanks differ according to the user requirements and the available space for the tank. Polyethylene, GRP and stainless steel material are the most preferred ones for water tank production and usually horizontal, prismatic and vertical types of water tanks are used for water storage. Each material or type provides different advantages to the users. Features of Karmod’s millenium plastic water storage tanks make them superior to others and the users enjoy the advantages of these superiorities.
Firstly, same polyethylene material is used for production of our millenium water tanks as it is used for our other type of polyethylene tanks. This polyethylene is an anti-bacterial thermoplastic so it ensures that micro-organisms do not contaminate the tank. Growing of micro-organisms in a tank has numerious negative effects on both the plastic tank itself and on the material which is kept inside the tank. Micro-organisms such as algae engorge themselves on plastic material and other organic substances within the tanks. In other words, they destroy the plastic slowly, leading to deterioration of the quality of both the plastic tank and the liquid inside it. Using a good quality anti-microbial polyethylene during the production process of the tank ensures that the surface of the tank is prevented from growth of algae and this makes the tank cleaner and more durable.
Secondly, we do not use any colour pigments during the production of colour millenium polyethylene vertical storage tanks. Pigments which are used for colouring the polyethylene are generally extracted naturally and may contain heavy metals. These heavy metals make the water inside the tank toxic, so consumption of this type of water by humans is hazardous and unsafe. The polyethylene that we use in our rotomoulding process is originally coloured polyethylene which is compatible with the relevant legal regulations.
Thirdly, the surface of our millenium plastic water tanks is brilliant and slippery thanks to the specific polishing applications on our stainless steel moulds. This brilliant and slippery surface of the tank makes it washable easily and the user does not need to get maintenance service from outside so the cost of maintenance is very low. Besides that, it prevents the growth of micro-orgnanisms such as algae, moss or fungi on the inner surface of the tank. Therefore, the tank can be used for storage of potable water safely.
Our millenium plastic vertical water storage tanks can be used for storage of all kinds of potable or nonpotable water, chemicals, diesel, rain water harvesting etc, as all our polyethylene storage tanks do.
